  • Battery vent hose replacement

I don't have the vent hose that probably came with it and am tired of seeing little drops of acid all over after riding. I tried some fuel line. Short lived solution. What won't get eaten up?

I believe the hose is a plastic/vinyl material. The acid comes in a plastic container!! Perhaps even some polyurethane would work! Seems you found that Sulfuric Acid disolves "natural rubber"!!

Tygon tubing...essentially fish-tank stuff. They sell it in various sizes at any decent hardware store.

My last battery replacement was a sealed battery. No vent hose, threw the old one away.

Vinyl tubing or (stock) neoprene (synthetic rubber) though that could be hard to find. I'd go with vinyl.

Mine came witha length of clear fish tank line. Go ahead and take the line out of your kids tank. Nemo doesn't really need it that bad.
