    If you do go the rebuild route, clean everything!! I recall from another thread that there is a bleed hole that MUST be cleaned, or the fuel will not shut off. There is a VERY small hole on the opposite side of the diaphram from the vacum. If it plugs, once the fuel is running, it won't shut down.

        my octpus was leaking between the mating surfaces
        i checked diaphram and it was good
        so i resurfaced the 2 halves on 400 grit paper taped to sheet of glass- this got them back to square
