      after further review, I dont think its the correct part/ for an xj. I don't speak german but looks like they refer the part might work with an fzr 600 and I know that wont bolt up and work. The out put shaft on a 600 carries several gears on it and is about 8" long. The part on ebay had a shaft that looks to be about 3" long. How would one couple it to an exsisting shaft? and for an xj, The motor turns in reverse, cam tentioner is in the front, and the output shaft has a bearnig on the outside of the final gear. Thus it has to spin in the opposite direction to get the rear tire to spin forward. Xs's may be different. Top Cat could you verify my comments ? I maybe wrong wont be the last !! How cool would that be ! night all!!

          It looks like the real thing, the bolt holes are in the same places as the middle drive ones on the XS1100 (XJ11000) but....
          Way back, long ago, in a land far away, a French custom bike company called Moto Martin made special frames for production bikes - they were good but when they did one for the XS1100, they included a shaft drive conversion. This is what I think is being offered for sale.
          The problem with the conversion (and a lot of other chain drive conversions) was that the sprocket was too close to the engine, any slack in the chain would start to grind away at the upper crankcase housing. I've seen quite a few examples with Araldite (epoxy glue) repairs to the crankcase. There are also issues about the chain sizes but I can't remember what they were - best to ask the seller.

          I hope this of some help out there.
