Speedometer info / pictures

Long a go I found some info / pictures of a disassembled speedometer from an XS that showed the internals, the few gears inside, etc. I have been looking for a couple of hours now and cannot find it. I am wanting to take my used one I bought apart without screwing it up, for cleaning and lube with white lithium lube. Can any one please tell me where to find this article again, maybe it was an offsite link? PLEASE HELP.

2 quick notes to add to my original comments.

Speedo needle is connected directly to the "bell" on a shaft; the spiral spring is not involved except to control (calibrate) the movement of the 'bell'.

Speedo needle 'jumping' was finally traced to a broken speedo drive plate in the front axle. This plate has 2 fingers; one had broken off, must have been that way for a while until the 2nd broke and speedo died completely. I replaced the plate and seal and speedo is steady as can be.
