Does anyone know if their are seal kits for the air shocks for the XJ ? Or would I be better off taking my chances agian on Ebay ? The right shock is leaking oil from the seal.

Thanks for the offer. I sent you a PM. I am going to experiment with the leaky shocks and hopefully come up with a fix. What have I got to loose. They're trash. If I come up with a fix I'll be posting it.S.R.Czekus

Bummer,
I've only got the one XJ, and can't ride it now with the right rear shock leaking. In fact, I was out on a business trip when it happened and I believe all the fluid has leaked out of it now! I'm wondering if I should just replace both shocks or try to fix them?

Just for that reason I took the OEM shocks off and went with a set from JCW. They were ok, did what they were supposed to do. I would have liked to go with progressive rears but at $400+ just couldn't justify it. Partsnmore, JCW and a number of other vendors have shocks for the XJ1100 for about $80.

Because of the problems I've been hereing about with the XJ air shocks. I now keep the JCW shocks I pulled off, in the saddle bags for just in case.S.R.Czekus
