KONG LIVES!!!
Saved another mighty XS11 from the junk heap. When I changed oil I almost didn't get the filter bolt out...WHEWWWWW! I was sweating it.
Last night when I changed the plugs I nearly puked blood. When I pulled the number two sparker I noticed there was a threaded sleeve around the plug. I guess somebody in the past stripped it ...re-threaded the hole and screwed a threaded sleeve back in it. Dontcha hate it when that happens?
Fired it up and tokk it around the block. Tranny seemed fine...clutch too. Rear brake is sticking but front is ok. However there is a little "thrashing" noise coming from the left front crank cover. I guess the ignition system is behind that door? The noise is not very noticeable but defintely there. Any thoughts?
