There are differences, I just checked mine and they are 62393. When I bought them, the store had these and the one's listed in this recall on the same shelf. The recall one that I didn't get had a much worse paint job on it, and it didn't have little rubber boots over the handles. I know, minor differences, but when I shop at HF I always check over observable quality differences because their quality control is trash and their is a lot of variance. Even if you look through a bin of pliers and look at the grinds and the teeth alignment, you usually have to go through a few before you find one that is acceptable. And this time, it may have saved my life just because I went with the one with a better paint job.1980 XS1100SG

Hmm... the ones I have are orange but I always stick at least one wheel or something similarly solid under the frame after setting the jack stands because I've had them slip before so I don't trust jack stands.-- Scott

I don't trust these stands either, if I setup under a car, I put the jack stands under it and leave the floor jack as well for redundancy. If I had the kind that have a pin all the way through them, I would trust them, but these ratcheting type one's I do not trust.1980 XS1100SG

Mine are orange also and although they were bought at Autozone I am 99% sure they are from the same Chinese company UNLESS another Chinese company stoled intellectual property and copied them!
I have used them many times on my trucks and travel trailers. Really, I am not too worried. They look good. I did smash my finger tip once by releasing the top. Gawd that hurt!!!

I like this guys tool teardowns, along with AvE's, but after watching this I want to get a set of the Pro-Lifts.
The extra caution of having the pin is a necessity in my opinion. I don't work much under vehicles anymore but might be worth the upgrade.1980 XS1100SG
