    My '80G is exactly the same with wired grounds from bar controls, tail light, horns, fairing, trunk, etc. straight to the battery or the ground meeting point at the Geezer reg/rec and all bulbs except gauges changed to LED's.

    The turns now flash at the red lights without revving. and charging is optimum and kicks in somewhere in the neighborhood of 2k rpm's
