Your bike runs; let it be.

At this point I believe that you should go ride, forget the advice and The Fine Manual and leave complex mechanical concepts and procedures it explains and illustrates like setting the base camshaft, crankshaft, and ignition timing alone
before you bend a bunch of valves and can't go riding at all.

This is supposed to be fun and a hobby so go have some fun!

Thanks Scott - Ya, bending valves would suck.

I was filling this tread with questions, exploring, learning...hoping it would help me and others.

I am with the setiment of leaving well enough alone...the enemy of good is better..etc., etc. There is always more to do on the bike, and its time to ride. (its just in time, here in the land of the great white north).

Thanks for all the input from everyone.

I just hope there is no valve interference if the valve/cam lobe clearances get too tight.

Post #46 looks like the timing wheel is pointed at close to the 20 mark. Post #60 looks closer to 15 like you say.

With the timing wheel at the same position as post #46 what do your cam marks look like?

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462
