These are the ones I have in my SG MArty.

I have found that the jets in most carb kits for XS11s are the wrong size. I get the best results when using only genuine Mikuni parts.
Slow down and enjoy life. If you are in that much of a hurry, you should have left eariler.

That’s the size I have. Mine have six instead of eight bleed holes. Thanks!

The air jets on the air cleaner side of the carbs too.
As a part of this, the emulsion tubes are affected by the pressed-in jet in the inlet bell of the carb. Put the carb cleaner straw right up to it and spray. Years ago, I got the new correct Micuni pilot jets and noticed that the outlet holes looked a tiny bit smaller. Could it have been from scouring of the originals? I don’t know, but be prepared to compensate with the pilot screws.

OK. I replaced the slide needles and the emulsion tubes. I'm now at +- 40 mpg. Thanks all!

Hallelujah! Finally got her done. I know you are elated with that result. Just when you thought it would never happen. Congratulations! Lean and mean!

Where did you get these? Were they new and original Mics?

I bought a junk bike from a shop in North Georgia. The odometer shows 20 thousand something miles. The needles have the correct part number on them for my SG. In other words, I had parts in my stash.

XJ4Ever.com has reproduction needles for the XS1100SG. He also has the emulsion tubes. That is the only place I have found those parts. So far, everything I have purchased there has been outstanding. I did not want to spend that much money without knowing I had a fix. Luckily, I had spares on hand. I'll be buying them for the next set of carburetors!

To complete the answer to your question. I believe the needles are $8.95 ea. The emulsion tubes (needle jets) are $24.95 ea, IIRC.
