    That was the only question I asked myself when I replaced the original float needles with K&L's after dealer quoting me the price for the Mikunis. Even with the 'generious' local discount I get, they were still expensive. Still have the originals, and may just chuck them up in a drill and ever so lightly with a piece of fine emory paper, scuff off so original 'seat' mark dissapears off the viton. Hey, worked 'back in the day' for a poor-boy automotive carb overhaul.
