Fork seals

Bought some things from a guy on eBay and he mentioned he had 5 pairs of fork seals for the XS11. He wants $6+ shipping each pair or he can include them all with my other order for $25 for the 5 pairs and no shipping to me.
If anyone is interested let me know ASAP at dsundby@wi.rr.com or he will send my other parts and list the fork seals on eBay ?

Fork Seals

Be sure that the seals are oem type. There are aftermarket (cheap) ones that do not seal properly.

From past threads, not all 11s use the same diameter fork seals. There is a 1 or 2 mm difference if I recall correctly. Many parts houses get this wrong so you need to check. (Same applies to Tkat's fork brace; different diameters for different fork tubes.) You may want to do a search on fork seals to see past threads on this topic.

I would verify from the seller what diameter his seals are; should be stamped some place on the seal or on the packaging.

forking seals

I have asked this guy for manufacturer and which models they fit. Partzilla has a different # 3J6-23145-00-00 for Special, includes Midnight, SG, LG, SH LH, (SF is no longer listed but I would think the same seal?) non-Specials E,F,G,H take # 2H7-23145-00 and below that they list # 41Y-23145-00-00.
He sent this, (cross references to Parts Unlimited FS-031 Front Fork Seals 37mm x 48mm x 10.5mm)

37-48-10.5 are for the Special. 37-49-8 are for the Standard. The XJ11 uses even a different size.
