My bike wouldn't start for 6 months (ok 4 months were winter) and it's because i had wrong plugs and corrosion in the elbow plug and copper wire. I cleaned that up, put in 4 new bpr6es plugs, and the bike started right up

BP6ES is no longer available in the US my bet is that Canada isn't any different. Google "remove resistor from ngk spark plug cap" for instructions on how to do that, it's pretty simple.1980 XS1100G

Yambits : for Yamaha bikes You can also just buy some non resistor replacement spark plug caps.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

One other thing that I thought might be mentioned. Beware of buying plugs off of Ebay. There are many listed as BP6ES and they are mostly counterfeit. ngk bp6es spark plug for sale | eBayLast edited by cajun31; 03-29-2024, 02:15 PM.2 - 80 LGs bought one new
