    Looks Good !!!

Tank looks good and clean, nice job.

It's a good idea to use inline filters also just in case of any small debris that got missed in the flush.

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

Thanks Schming, but where would I install an inline fuel filter when there is 2 hoses per petcock om each side, would I install 1,2,3, or 4?

      Thanks.

Install filters after the "Octy" before the carb tees.

Is that so you can switch to prime to bypass them in case of a clog/restriction in the filter? I was contemplating the same question recently and that was my reasoning for considering that location.

Ideally the filters should be in the lines coming from the octy to the fuel feed tees to filter all fuel from the tank regardless of the petcocks valve position.

Now I see what you mean. I was thinking of the wrong tee when you said "fuel feed tees". To clarify, your suggesting cutting #3 to add a fuel filter, in this image: https://www.partshark.com/oemparts/a...el-cock-piping

Previously, I was considering putting them at #7 and 8, so I could keep riding in spite of fuel filter issues (restriction/clog/whatever).

Correct #3 on left and right sides are the ones to cut and install filters.

If you find straight filters won't let the fuel lines flow properly (kink) here is a link to 90 degree filters.

I gotta say, those porous stone filters are lousy. I use the Fram inline filters.

The filters in the link I provided have either a polyester or 304 SS element.

Porous Sintered Bronze may be what you are mistakenly calling porous stone.

I don't care for them either.

They work fine for me. Then again, there's no crap in my tank.

Just a thought here but if you let a little of the vinegar out and slowly topped the tank with oil, then let it settle a few moments. As oil will rise to the top over vinegar it should stabilize at the top. Now if you were to drain the tank from the petcocks slowly, would not the oil coat the tank as the fluid drained?
Would the vinegar still keep reacting or would it stop? I dunno but it makes me think.
