    Looks nice. Is it really chrome plating? As I understand, that is hard to find these days.

        Yes it really is chrome platted and not powder coated, and I was guaranteed it would be quality job.

        I paid a pretty penny to have it done, $150.00.

        It was this much because they claimed because of all the round tubular curves and the polishing behind it.

        They strip the older chrome, thenpolish it and then nickel plate it and then chrome it.

          yes, I just wish I had more time to work on her constantly.

          I never knew that was the original style of grab bar, and I am all about trying to keep her original.
