Has any of you ever replaced, or had replaced, the fork bushings. Who does it? How much does it cost? It appears dirty oil tears them up.

The lower bushings, the ones on the stanchions can be easily replaced, the upper ones in the legs are pressed in and are a real bear to remove and not easy to find. I got some a long time ago from Jim Lindemann in California and I had to size them myself, what a pain. Probably a better option to get a low mile pair of forks and polish them up to look as nice as yours.

Fork bushings
From memory, the SF forks they did for me, I'm pretty sure that they had and replaced the bushings as part of the upgrade.1981 XS1100H Venturer
