cam installation procedure

    Yeah, after I apply the bead to the cover, I smear it with a finger to make sure it coats the whole surface. And yeah, it's a PITA to get the cover back on without smearing it onto the cam chain a bit. The best way to avoid this is to just pull the motor for valve shim adjustment and install it while the motor is out.

    You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

      Lmfaoooo . . . Does that go along with pulling the engine every 3k for oil changes?

        Naw... I like to do oil changes while driving down the road. Oil plug falls out, then you get to practice riding on ice at the same time. Works for the middle drive as well. As a matter of fact, you can go ahead and forget the top fill plug as well for either the engine OR middle drive and ride down the road to get rid of the old oil as well.


        I wish I could say I've only HEARD about this happening. lol

            Hmmm.......guess that would include spider hub assembly also Tod?.
