I don't do social media or participate in any other forums so I'll be figuring this out as I go.
I bought a 79 xs 1100 special about 4 years ago as a project and never had much time to get it on the road. I've made some career changes so I should have more free time now and I'm hoping participating on the forum will serve as inspiration to keep me going.
About the bike....from what I can tell its a complete bike except the grab bar is missing. When I got the bike the carbs were removed so I rebuilt them and found 2 cylinders were dead. The pick up wires were broken so that was a pretty simple fix. I bought two new dyna coils for it, (have not installed yet) and updated the fuse panel. Of course it needs tires and the brake system needs to be rebuilt. I also have some wiring to redo for the lights.
