BMX bike handlebars are the same diameter as ours are. Seeing as how motorcycle bar ends can cost $40+...I suggest looking into ones for BMX that cost $20 at most and are designed to be used and abused. www.albes.com and www.danscomp.com are the two best places to look in the event any of you are interested.

BMX ones are designed to be dragged, dropped, scraped, etc and all metal ones have recessed allen bolts to prevemt the bolts(and wedge mechanism) from getting damaged. I've been a BMXer for two decades and have seen certain pairs last a decade despite having been repeatedly(and thoroughly) abused.XS1100SG "Lucy Ferr" - Build project. Biltwell Tracker bars, octy delete, rerouted breather hose, mini turn signals, bar end mirrors, TC's fuse block, TKAT fork brace. No fairings. No windscreen. No hard bags. More to come...eventually...

The forces put on a BMX bike are far greater than you might realize. These bikes(that are 2-3x that weight) are designed to MASSIVE abuse(it's REALLY hard to break parts...and I mean REALLY F'IN HARD) And the bar ends are made from billet 6061-T6...just like the motorcycle specific ones. Except these have recessed bolts. Basically, youre gonna mess up your bars/controls/mirrors well before you destroy these bar ends.XS1100SG "Lucy Ferr" - Build project.
