Hey Nate- No, those are ferrule crimpers. Deutsch connector crimpers kinda look like a rivet gun, except the mouth is on the same side as the handles.1979 XS1100F

Nate there is also another solution on Ebay, rather than installing a single function gauge. There are many digital LED display amp meters some are multifunction having voltage and amp they come in different colors blue green red most are offered by china suppliers but I have had good luck with the quality of most things just it takes time for them to come in. Also a lot of things you buy here now that are economical you will find are made overseas a lot in china repackaged and a name sticker put on the exact same internal components for a mark up price.

This is just an example you can look depends on what you are looking for and the look and function you want.To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

I have never seen one of those cheap digital gauges that reads negative amps, and that is a pretty important part of the ammeter. Plus I want the round gauge, because that is what is natural on a vehicle.Nathan
