    Need some hose/line help

Riding the bike the other day to work/first ride of XS this season, the hose from my Pingel fuel valve that goes to the carb bung came off.I was able to attach it but what size is the bung? Is it metric or standard? I would think its standard hose I had on there as It is loose. What is the inner diameter of the vacuum hose supposed to be? I want it to go on there tight without a clamp to hold it on.

This is coming from Hong Kong because it was the least expensive and I'm not in a hurry. There are closer sources. Some parts houses stock it.

Who cares as long as it works. OEM is most likely a metric measurement since that's what is used in Japan.

        1/4" is 6.35 mm.

Are you talking about fuel line or vacuum line? What I posted is fuel line.

Try 3/16" for the vac hose.

You can use a clamp to make sure it won't fall off but 3/16" should be a nice tight fit.
