That is a special order part. You won't find a bolt with a o-ring grove at a hardware store.
Slow down and enjoy life. If you are in that much of a hurry, you should have left eariler.

If you find a non-stock drain plug with the right thread size, you could use a nylon washer. You wouldn't need an o-ring.

For that matter, it's a galley plug, no real reason to be going in there or taking that plug OFF/OUT again. I say clean/degrease it and the galley threads, slather it will YamaBond/3Bond along with the nylon washer, and just put it back in there and forget it. The Yamabond and nylon washer should seal it up nicely to not leak, and no worries about an O-ring flattening/hardening and developing a leak.

Hey Greg, okay, so you DID help him on the other site, guess we're not good enough to provide the same help here, in case others might need to replace theirs also!?

                      Hey Greg,

Thanks, awesome, photos as well as specs!!! FOLKS, I sent Greg a PM reply just now.

I placed a couple of SMILEYS at the end of my previous post trying to show that I was just making a tongue in cheek type of jest about him replying to the requester on www.xs11.org but then "teasing" us here. I hit a nerve and didn't mean too, thought the hatchet about the "OTHER" site had been buried years ago?

I thought we had a LINK in the LINKs forum telling folks about dot.org, but there wasn't one. There was a few threads in the Member's Lounge about it. I just now created a new post/thread about XS11.org with a link and such.

Okay, hopefully this will show that we don't dislike XS11.org, it's members, mods, admin, etc., and that we recommend it as another great source for info and support for your bike. They also allow more open/free discussions on a variety of off topics, like politics, religion, guns, etc. Our site just asks that folks not post about the aforementioned hot button topics to try to keep the atmosphere here in a positive, polite, courteous way, as required by the OWNER of the site. We tried to allow those type of discussions in a special Hot Button forum, but folk's emotions, opinions, got the better of them, and feelings and insults were flung and spread to the other tech forums as well, it was a failure, and was removed. And thus, XS11.org was created as an outlet and alternative to the restriction of topics here. YMMV.

                            Special Bolt

You should ask Andreas if he has one. He is our local parts go to guy here on the site. Also try eBay. If no luck, give Partzilla a try for a new one. May ask PO if he still has it.

You will waste time going to a hardware or big box store.
