Sorry about the double post, but I had to say it... I got it! I had my final riding test this monday and passed it. No more restrictions. I can ride anytime and anywhere I want. Cool.
BTW: up here in quebec, you have to go through 3 tests to have your licence: 1st is a written test. Then you have to wait at least a month and take a 25 hour riding course that costs 500$. After that you can go and do the closed circuit exam. If you fail, you wait another month to do it again. If you pass, you get a apprentice driver licence that you have to keep at least 8 months. That licence lets you ride on the road, but you have to have another rider on another bike to supervize. He is responsible for your mistakes. Then you take the final exam and are free to ride if you pass. If not you have to wait for 56 days for another chance! That's 8 weeks! Talk about pressure.....
Anyway... It's all over now. If it can stop raining, I'll start taking the bike to work.
