    Some do, but they'll be marked as having the convertor. And only one in the set will have it.

    Greg, they are fairly restrictive. Harley really choked the stock bikes to get them to meet EPA standards, which is why a muffler change and a rejet is usually worth about 20% more power on these (it should be so easy on a XS...).

    With that said, you're not running a V-twin with an odd firing pattern, so with the smaller cylinders/even pattern it may be fine. And guys have been known to use an extension on a hole saw and cut all/part of that baffle out, gaining power (and noise). If you can figure out a way to reconnect the crossover, it should be worth 3-5 HP...

        My 80G with welded on end sections of sportster muffs to replace the rusted out rear sections. Here's the left rear, right side looks the same. Clean looking, no louder than stock and I kept the stock XS crossover.

          sporty muffs?

          I have sporty muffs on my MNS, cant tell the difference from stock. No adjustment with jets either.
