  • float needles

There are two sizes for the metal on metal needles. One is 17.5 mm for later carbs and the other is 15.1 mm for the early carbs. I can't find any source that gives the measurement so I know I'm getting the right ones. Anyone have a source? Also I'm looking for the small rubber washers for the later idle mixture screws.

Niche Cycle Supply has a good assortment of Mikuni parts, but you need to know the Mikuni part number you're looking for.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

This was what worked on my XJ carbs...from a post I started a couple years ago -
Motoman told me the o-rings are still available from Suzuki, part number is
13295-29900. He was right, I'm looking at 4 of them now. Maybe the part number should be included in the Carb Cleaning 101 thread??

Suzuko still has the teeny o-rings and teeny washers for the recessed idle mix screws Mack. BillyRok has the part number in post#3 that had psted long time ago.

For the metal on metal, there is just one size. The early carbs had this. The later carbs had a neoprene tip on the needle. You can usually get the whole seat and needle at Partsnmore for less than just the needles.

Also, you might check Harbor Freight for the o-rings. They have a whole assortment of the Viton o-rings for just a few bucks and there might be the size you need in there. Not sure how small they get in that kit, but some are tiny.
