Gas cap seal

Did the standard gas caps have a different rubber gasket from the specials? If so anyone have a source?

Mack, I have used the MikesXS gasket shown in the link above on my Standard. I can't remember if I had to modify it any, but it is on there and works fine.

I actually

had one from mikes in my spare parts bin. It doesn't fit quite right on the standard cap but the spring does it's job well and I think it will provide a better seal because,it is conical inside then flat around the rim while on the special it just sits flat around the top only.
