Well, I finally got done with everything. Started out installing the Kuryakyn grips. Ras was right, you have to follow the instructions and file-off the ridges on the throttle tube to install it. No glue on the throttle side.
After that, I replaced front and rear brake light switches. The front one does not work properly, as when I press the button in, the brake light activates. So, not sure if the 650's work backwards of our's, and their's use a normally closed, where-as our's use a normally open circuit.
Anywho, got the "E" advance, vacuum pot, and the timing wheel on. Took me an hour to get it started, as I think I had the reluctor 180 degrees out (thanks for the tip Scott). Sitting at the "F" mark on idle, and 35 degree with the vacuum line detached at #2 carb, @ 5200 rpm.
Did not touch the sync or A/F settings. I want to fill it up, and monitor the mileage.
If anyone is curious what my ignition timing was with the "F" wheel and modified advance, it was 20 degrees at idle, and 35 @ 5200 rpm, with the vacuum pod plugged at both readings.
