I never got to ride any buses. I grew up in California, I had to walk to school downhill in the sunshine -- both ways!

When I was lucky they were Ked's or P.F. Flyers (with the action wedge to help you run faster and jump higher!), otherwise it was cheap tennys from Penny's.

Trust me -- it beats the heck out of the alternative!

Ah! Another day not looking up at roots! The sun came up on the right side of the planet again so everything's alright with the universe, anything else is petty stuff I don't need to worry about.

Set the timing with the vacuum gauges when you synchronize the carburetors: max vacuum then back off a few degrees. Take it out for a check ride to get it hot. If it pings, move the timing a few short seats or a backrest or two.

Ha ha ha......gifted. Finding it runs better short bus. Might back it off a little more just as an experiment.

Nah, bodysurfing. That was before Felix the Cat invented the telescoping surfboard and you could fit a ten-foot board in a school locker.

I figured there was water involved. That dang Pacific Ocean tried to eat me with a rip current in 1978 and I've never forgiven it.

                                How's it goin', Brant!

Greg: What Brant said. Check the advance plate bearing, it should turn easily; clean and smooth like a Lazy Susan. You'll lose 16 to 18 degrees advance while you ride if it sticks or quits working. Trbig's got it easy, he doesn't have to clean and grease the bearings on his XJ's 10M TCI or the vacuum sensor under the tank.
