so ive been having charging issues since i got the bike in january, and havent found the problem yet. until last night.. i pulled the reg.rec out and went to test it. the rec tested on 0/70 on all but one was 0/220.. but then i went to test the reg and found that my reg only had brown & green wires coming out of it.. but my plug on the bike has brown, green & black.

im assuming this is why ive been having issues. am i correct in thinking this?

my alt tested fine after i fixed the 3 white wire connectors.

does anyone have the oem part number for this reg/rec??

all the ones online show only 2 wires.. but the service manual shows 3.

a - 0/70
b - 0/70
c - 0/70
d - 0/0
e - 0/70
f - 0/70
g - 0/70
h 0/220

Although there is a black wire in the clip the ground is through the frame at the mounting location. Clean the paint and any filth under the mounting screws and then retest the charging system (above 1500 dons of course).
