Looking for a thread for non working turn signals...

Can't seem to find anything on non working turn signals.........81 SP. Were working until I replaced horn button. Can't see any loose wires in there.

Here's one for the Aus forums. http://xs1100.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=1962.0
On mine it turned out to be the flasher unit. You can replace it with any 2 prong no load auto flasher if that's your problem. I also had a wire break about 8 inches after my switch. Hopefully someone with more wiring experience on these will chime in. Good luck man.

Are the turn signals light on or not flashing or both?

If they are not flashing I would check the flasher unit.

Great fix. Maybe something shorted the relay circuit when you changed the horn button. It happens.

I just bought some of these electronic flashers, they still flash quickly even after the battery is discharging waiting for a long red light...
