how does one change fuel tees between carbs.is it just o-ring that go bad. do you have to separate the carbs. mine just started to leak. also the the fuel petcocks wont shut off.oh the problems keep coming.guess nothing last forever.

The fuel taps can be repaired, there are kits for everything. Do you still have the vacuum shutoff valve/Octy or is it gone? Here's a tutorial:-

Yes, you have to separate the carburetors to fix the tees. That will be an adventure but it's not too bad. The fuel tees are solid rubber molded over metal and they're available but they're expensive. You can repair the old ones with some o-rings:-

yes i still have the octy.still works. will look into george fix parts. the fuel tees dont sound like fun at all.so the fuel tees have o-rings.i've own this bike for 15 yrs, never had any fuel leak problems,did have some float issues.when you want something bad enough, don't let anything stand in your way, and don't take "no" for an answer.
