    Thanks for the follow-up, hondakid11!

    I know I keep telling people to check the engine compression, valve clearances and mechanical timing before spending money and time diving into the carburetors and electrical system but usually no one does it until after the carburetors have been strewn all over the place along with the wiring harness and a few other -- now broken -- bits and pieces and the engine still won't run right.

    Take it easy on 2nd gear and have fun: Good job!
