Fired up for the first time, how to keep it running?

I got it running.

I pulled the pilots again. I didn't realize there was a hole in the non-slotted end. Cleaned that and reassembled. Cranked right up, even idles on its own. Got a lot of fuel/rich smoke, but at this point I don't care, I'm just really excites it runs.

Awesome, about 2 1/4 turns out from lightly seated is a good starting point for those mixture screws.

Thanks, I'll try that. I put them in lightly seated (I didn't want to snap them off as mentioned).

Now I have to worry about actually spending money. Battery, tubes, tires, brakes, lighting...

The 80 and later mixture needles seat at that shoulder, not the tip.
