    MNS History

Was the MNS produced in the US only or in other countries as well?

I'm not positive, but I believe all Specials were for North America only. I haven't seen evidence to the contrary, other than the occasional Special that turns up overseas.

I know of two in England for sure. And Fastred1 also has a 79SF.

I believe James has said that Specials were US only. However, their RH model is close to a Special I believe.

RH doesn't share much with a Special. The tank is so obvious, but it's a trick. The rear wheel is 17" and the frame is different than the Special.

The RH is the closest thing to an MNS or Special that Europe got.

Yes, it shares the tank and little else. Same for Oceana, Greg?

                Don't know anything about that.

Europe didn't get the RH, we got the S, frame + engine designated the 5K7.

The RH was Oceana, Oz, NZ, Japan home market etc

I only mention it coz this thread is model specific. The 5K7 and RH are VERY similar but there are slight differences, if the two were parked next to each other you wouldn't spot the differences unless someone pointed them out.

Yes the RH and S appear to be a slightly altered MNS but have subtle differences, even little detail changes like the neutral light pod is different to the MNS/Specials.
