I noticed there is no room for the center stand, and looking at the work, it probably didn't help much at all. Tubes will work much better than flat at keeping the flex down. But as Steve said, it won't make much difference with these bikes, unless you are trying to road race them. At that point, you would probably go chain drive anyway.....

Good idea, bad execution. I think this is an area that could use strengthening due to the sheer weight of these bikes. If you did it right, it might help as much as a fork brace but the way he did that will make almost no difference as the flat bar at the end will torque very easily.
