    Can the Special Exhaust be installed onto a Standard?

    Yes, but without the center stand. The special pipes get in the way, and the spring gets REALLY sprung... DAMHIKIJK
    Also, you may have to change the studs on the exhaust, or just put on the nuts from a late '90's small block chevy in place of the stock nuts.

      All of the years Special exhaust are plug'n'play on the Standard............if it's an 81H.
      81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

          I have the Midnight Special exhaust on my '78E. Like Ray posted, no center stand, but everything else is working alright.
