Plexifairing 3 is for round headlight bikes. Only my feet get wet behind it.

Just placed order for Plex 3. I feel this is my best option to prevent the weather shellacking I took on the Iron Butt Saddle Sore run I did last May.

Yup, not one complaint I've seen with that fairing. Good choice! Mine should be here by the 8th. Hope to get it on same day and test her out during cold overnight lows.

I have a National Cycles Plexistar2...it is a great little windscreen...it does 95% of what a bigger windjammer does without all the weight or drag on the bike. When I first acquired this bike i didnt like the look of the screen, but after riding with it..and seeing how well it works...I'm liking it a whole lot more...

Great Choice. Here is Marty & I at the top of Blood Mountain back in Georgia after the SE Rally

Rain-Rain & Fog Stayed dry until we took a pit stop
(a major wet soaking was a great test of the electrics, thankfully no problems)

For long haul - long distance riding, this is the only way to travel.
btw, that Pacifico does an amazing job keeping rider dry and comfortable.

I highly recommend installing vents on the PLex 3. I have one and the vacuum it creates behind it when you're riding pulls you forward onto the bars causing undue fatigue on your palms, wrists, arms, elbows, and shoulders because of the pressure on them from that pulling force.
Don't pay the high prices Honda charges for theirs. Look for the 2.5" to 3" ones they use on small aircraft windows. They're only like $15.00 a pair vs. $40 to $50 for the Honda ones.
I also have a Slip Streamer for summer riding, the PLex 3 is for winter... yeah, here in Florida!!

Hmmmmm........I don't know why it would, a full fairing doesn't.

The vents do help a lot for keeping the heat from collecting there though. In cool weather it's not bad but when it's hot out you sure don't need the engine heat being held there.

The advantage of a windshield is that you can remove it when it's hot out

                      Holy crackers! It's huge!

Ordered Plex 3 on Saturday, got it on Wednesday. That was fast. And oh-my-goodness, it's massive. I can hide all day behind that thing! Looking to mount it up over the weekend.
