I'll bet NOT! If air rear shocks are anything like air front shocks, they hold so little air that even the act of checking pressure loses a significant amount. You don't really check the pressure in air shocks. You get your portable air tank up to the pressure you want, and you apply the chuck to each valve a few times so everything comes out to equilibrium. If you don't have a portable tank to do this, you can shut off your compressor, bleed it down to desired pressure, then do the balancing thing.
My guess is your shocks have 'gone flat'. Pressure them up correctly, and see if your problem is solved.
