Calling all Studs!

Apparently some models came with longer exhaust studs than others, I have an older set of Jardines that require them to be mounted on my 11H. Trying to find a part # for them.
Anyone?

According to Yamaha, no longer available. Take one of your old ones and go to Ace Hardware, they have metric 8MM studs.

Go to the fastener store and get a stick of SS allthread, 8MM x 1.25 and make them any length you want.

Have not had good luck with SS. They often seize on me, but that's usually with SS on SS. How will SS on steel fare? Especially with high heat.

Besides, it's SS on aluminum.

95617-08615-00 which they have listed as still available for $1.46 each.

Nubian, could some shorter collars be somehow fabricated for the Jardine? I forget what they look like exactly, may be better than risking breaking off perfectly good studs? JAT

That would be my first choice if I could get the pipes apart.
