This is my first post, so I apologize if this is the wrong section to post this in. I am the proud new owner of an '81 XS11 Standard touring bike, so I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions. I have lots of little projects to complete, but one of them has me stumped.
My wife is only 5'2", and she can barely reach the rear footpegs to ride 2-up with me. I'm not sure if the touring side-cases are the problem or if the rear of the king / queen seat is too tall, but I'm wondering if there is a way to raise the rear pegs. I tried searching here but haven't seen any info on this.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

PS. My moniker is a joke referencing the fat kid on South Park. There was an episode where he was trying to "bulk up" and become a "Beefcake" by drinking a weight-gain supplement. When my ex-girlfriend's kids came to my house for the first time and saw a jug of protein powder on the counter, they started making jokes about it, and the name has stuck for nearly 15 years.
