Thanks Done. re keeping.... I think I'll keep it until another Euro model turns up! I just don't know Maybe it's better to travel than to arrive. I feel a bit at a loose end now and think I need another 'potential project'....

Here's a few more pix, since we all love pix so much....stop me if I'm getting boring..

UD, see if one of your standards has the decal with the hook instruction.

Phil, I guess the Trans Canada wouldn't have the decal because it got the short pipes.

Venturers only look like standards. Has the flip up rear fender (mudgaurd) so does not get the wire contraption.
34 year old labels has lost some of it's silver glow. I cleaned it with a wet cloth but do not want to risk any strong chemicals.

Brilliant, thank you!!!!! The Euro models also have the flip up rear fender though....and they get the wire contraption too. Ive never ever used one as it takes the paint off the lugs and its much easier to remove the shocks and chock up the swingarm....

Pix of the respray job. Project nearly complete

Well, folks, the 'potential project' has now just about reached completion, apart from a few decals. I picked up the tank etc after the respray and couldn't resist getting the bike back together immediately....... once put gas in the tank, the biked fired up immediately and sounds excellent, so no troubles there..... im going to take a few 'official' pix in a nice location, same as last time but, in the meantime, here are some pix taken under artificial light......

The white speck in this one is actually expanded polystyrene from the transport protection

Here's what I need the decals for...the document wallet on the inside of the left side panel.....

Anyway, folks, that's about it until the weather becomes good enough to take some nice official pix to sign this project off!

I cant resist posting these again though!!.... another one saved from the scrap heap

Marty sent me the breather one but the decal is a bit damaged. It would help if you could send me a pic of yours too please!
