I did miss the carbies not being black. The front MC may be right if it is an 80. The 81 MNS got the different MCs due to the linked brake system.

Either way, the price is pretty ridiculous by USA standards.
Your right Don, after seeing more pics I rescind all my earlier misjudgments.

I also apologize to the seller, you sir have an amazing piece of history there.

I hope you get what your asking for.

        Question on the engine guards....

Were the engine guards on the 1980 MS stock, a dealer option, or owner add-ons?

My bike does not have them...

        Thanks,

Factory accessory, installed by dealer or owner.

There's some BS attached to this bike, the seller is claiming 'original tyres'... Still way overpriced.

I got about 3500 miles on the OEM rear tire on my '78...

            everything is spot on

except for the fact that the carbs are not solid black and as steve mentioned those are not original tires. All the MNS came with the Bridgestone Mag Mopus tires front and back. They are no longer made and is why I chose the Bridgestone Spitfires with RWL. Closest thing I could find that still has the look of the Mag Mopus tires. WOW on the price though.

              sale

If I ever decide to sell mine I know where to go. He can't be serious about the price though. I know what I have into mine and I'd be happy with a quarter of that.

Believe it or not, I have a friend , who is from Brazil and lives 'bout 1/2 hour north of me.
He says, in Brazil bikes like these go for big bucks 'cause you can't get them there.

If someone was to bring a pristine RH, 5K7 Sport or XJR here, someone would pay alot of money to have a rarity.

Problem is pristine 5K7's cost £4,000 here, about $7,000.

Once shipping costs and import duties have been paid and any registration issues sorted I'd be surprised if anyone would stump up $8,000 for one. Is rarity worth that much?
