    US standard to Euro conversion

    Hi all

I have a complete set of parts available to convert a US standard to the European riding position which is more comfortable and easier on the back and wrists. This kit comprises alloy hangers, front footpegs, clutch inspection cover, gearbox cover and gearchange linkage and shorter rear foot brake. I also have the Euro spec handlebars available although these are not strictly necessary to effect a big change on the riding position ergonomics.

Shipping to the USA by FedEx, tracked and insured, would cost $113 and I'll be happy to sell on the parts at cost to an XSive. Just PM me if you're interested

    Here's a pic....

XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. Iridium plugs. XS750 final drive (sometimes). Micron fork brace. Progressive front springs. Geezer regulator/rectifier. Stainless 4 into 2 exhaust. Auto CCT (Venturer 1300) SOLD. New project now on the go. 1980 European model.

I highly recommend this modification! If anything, it's a good conversation piece.

Nate has bought the round inspection cover as per the above pic, folks. It's not strictly necessary for 'converting' a bike....more aesthetics. So, all the other parts are still available for anyone whose back hurts or wrists ache!!

Well, I must say that I personally find the engine covers on the USA standards a bit bland. Horses for courses though, as they say...

I've acquired another set of conversion parts.... Two hangers with grommets and metal bits, gearchange linkage and gearbox cover, rear brake lever and front footpeg assemblies.

If anyone wants these at what they cost me, plus actual cost of shipping, please PM me.......

Here's a pic of the actual parts....... They're all in good, useable condition. The hangers could do with a polish. The gearbox cover oil seal is fine. The cover needs washing and usually I lightly sand the four ridges in the casting in order to make them stand out as per OEM. Ready to use. I'm not trying to profit from anyone and they are available at exactly what I paid for them, plus actual cost of shipping by FedEx tracked.
