First I want to say thanks everyone for all the advice and help. So I understand that the bike needs back pressure. So could I get at least and an adequate amount with baffles?? Their are so many to chose from. What do you guys think?

While I'm never going to win an argument on these bikes "needing" back pressure, it is important to really understand what people mean when they say it. A more accurate name would be SCAVENGING. Which with large displacement, short stroke engines (such as ours) does aid in very low-end performance. When these guys say that only drag racers run straight headers, this is what they're talking about. In racing you're never going to be running at RPMs as low as daily riding to-and-from work and taking off from stop lights and low throttle openings. This is why scavenging is necessary for good "normal" performance. An engine that breathes better is gong to be faster AS LONG AS IT'S TUNED PROPERLY!
SO, what does this mean for you. It means you're going to have to make a decision. Go out and drop either $450 on a new aftermarket exhaust system or pay IanMac $150 for his dual macs (which I have never gotten to work on my bike) and tune your bike appropriately or play the straight pipe hokey pokey like me and find a way of increasing your low-end exhaust velocity. A trick that does work for straight pipes is welding on a washer to the end to restrict air flow. This will limit how fast pulses of air will leave your exhaust at low rpms without sacrificing high rpm flow. Another thing you could do is do a step down in the exhaust diameter after the manifold to create velocities and give you this fabled "back pressure".
All up to you. If you're willing to play the game and fight the good fight try the straight pipes. If you want a bolt on solution just grab a set of used or new aftermarket exhausts.
I'm looking forward to this snow clearing so I can take Ian to this track and dispel some of these rumors78 E - 2to1 exhaust, dynatek coils, special headlight [SOLD!]
79 F - gas tank refurb, headgasket change, straight pipes, late model carbs, virago lowering shocks, special headlight and gauges, TC fuse block, GSXR-1100 carbs (WIP)
