    Happy birthday

    Tod,
Happy birthday! You know growing up is optional.

    Nice work in progress.
I saw you in TX; Install new rod & main bearings in morning, Install engine in afternoon, Ride to car show in the evening. You could maybe then Test it out by doing wheelies.

I will be checking here in a day or two, looking for finished pictures. (may be a little longer if you have to change a fuel injection system into a carb.)

Especially good Christmas wishes you posted. Wishing you a Happy new year and many more birthdays.

    Good luck wrenching,
It is a great big beautiful world out there

Option 1) Make sure there is garage space for the car while there is snow on the ground.
Option 2) Get up at 6:30 am to go outside, unplug the car's block heater, scrape the ice off the windows and start the engine so she has a warm car to drive to work.
Fred I was offered those exact same options. Sucks to need more room in the garage.
That applies to everything I bring into the garage. Yet somehow in my dear sweet wife's mind it is completely OK to start my car and brush the snow off of my car for me.
This woman is nothing short of a saint. Do you know how wonderful it feels to get in a snow brushed off, ice scraped, warmed up, ready to go car? That and a kiss and a "Drive safe" that I am admonished with every single morning?
We here in the north get the best of everything. Our wives are second to none!
Heck you found one that would put up with you!!! Them southern boys have no idea what our girls are like and best they do not ever know.

I haven't heard a damn thing about this little project until now. Does this mean you'll be riding one with a straight frame next year?

Don't make it too shiny, you know how hard it is for you to keep a real nice bike from flipping down the road.

I've had the best of both worlds Doug. I think I'll stay down here where the women are warm..... uhhhh HOT, and the weather is warm.

The plan is to get it ready to sell in the spring... whether that actually happens or not. I've got ol' bent frame figured out, so I'll stick with it a while. Didn't work on it any last night. Ground up nearly a whole deer and close to 30 lbs pork last night for some summer sausage I'm trying to make. Tonight is New Years eve and will have the kids home. So...

            ...to be continued.
