Wally World.....$60 and they generally last about 3 years if you charge them correctly in the beginning and make sure you keep them full of distilled water.

            Just like your damn car.

I am not very good at maintaining a battery. It's one of my many faults. The AGM battery has made my life easier. I just retired one in my XS650 nine years old.

no distilled h2o...it has to be a sealed battery...i do not want to deal with keeping electrolyte levels maintained...so far this looks like the best bang for the buck...considering what i want...

                    Battery

I have purchased several AGM batteries from http://www.batterymart.com. Some for 4 wheelers and bikes. Prices work for me. Odyssey PC680 is the one I get for the 1100s. Right now on sale for $112 and free shipping. Has 2 year warranty and is one of the better batteries. This battery is actually smaller than the OEM battery and therefore it is necessay to use some spacers when installing - foam or wood works well.

this is exactly why my battery is toast...one or 2 cells dried out and when i went to charge it up i burned it out....no fires but battery was real hot after 2 hours on the slow charge setting...holy crap...

Go to my link. The Deka, 300 CCA. made in Pennsylvania is cheaper.
