That'd be bought as good as it gets Nate, and goes with the rest of look.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Oh my! That is one large trunk. I really didn't see the first time I browsed the post. You could put a pocket motorcycle in there in case you break down.Skids (Sid Hansen)

Here ya go...smaller and the color is closer to the high-pressure-sodium illuminated night shot.

I know it's a photoshopped concept photo but is it really that big?
If so, mount it on the right hand of the bike and put a wheel on t'other side.Fred Hill, S'toon

Lol, my first thought when I saw that pic was a collection of pieces stuck together. It fits with the seat, I think. Honestly, that black patch of paint on the side of the tank throws everything off. It'd probs go great together as-is with that tank area yellow.1979 XS1100F

Nate- I have been holding my thumb over different parts of that pic over & over. The trunk looks good as-is. Whatever makes YOU happy is what matters. I say ride it exactly how you have it. I do have a trunk I can put on my bike like your's if I ever need it. It's some cheap thing, and it works great. So, if it looks good on mine, your's will look equally as well, if not better.1979 XS1100F

Got the yellow on now. After looking at it more the size of the different sections of the trunk aren't quite big enough to do a scallop on. You can see what I am talking about in the first pic here. So I have to do something else.
So I just quickly put a couple stripes of tape down to get an idea.

I think it looks great Nate, painters tape and all, lol. You'll be one of the few left with a yellow bike. I'm switching my color over the Winter.1979 XS1100F
