  • Idle adjustment screw.

Hey fellas, Trike is coming along nicely. Just took it for a test ride yesterday up and down my street and all seems good so far.
Take a look at the second pic of my idle adjustment screw, it's almost impossible to get to it with a screw driver to make adjustments. I even tried a little stubby screw driver but I cant even get my hand in there. Is this the normal location for the screw? I sent the carbs out to have them rebuilt and I don't remember if that's hoe it was originally set up. Is there a way to relocate it to the top?
    Thanks.

That is where it is supposed to be but the screw is not the right one. The original screw is a bigger one with knotches on the outside edge of the screw so that you can turn it by hand or push sideways with a screwdriver to adjust it.

Early carbs point up on the airbox side. Late carbs point down on the engine side.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to find the right screw. Anyone have one for sale?

The rear end is out of a fox body mustang. It's flipped due to the rotation of the motor. I modified the rear end so it would have proper oil circulation. Now I know some people are going to say that a rear end wasn't made to run in reverse, it won't last long. Thats crap, its done all the time in off road trucks where they take a heavy dury rear end and flip it, install steering joints and put it up front. As long as the oil circulation is correct there will be no problems.
