Okay that makes a lot more sence now so there a way to unperge it or there an easy way to title it besides paying almost a grand to get new vin numbers and a new tittle for it? If Ihave to I'm still not going to have any more monie in the bike then its worth I'm calling my aturnies tomorrow to see what it would cost to just have a judge award it to me and the time frame for that

And I'm in the pprocess of getting allll the wire out of the bike other then break light and headlights and coil pack

But rode with a buddy he has a 82 650 looks like an xs but its not the same name but his bike smokes mine in acceliration and mine only tops out at 120 then it starts to cut out bad and cuts out when accelirating normal so carbs need rebuilt is my guess?? And I'm. Only getting maybe 30 mpgs should it be better

The title I got figuered out its expensive I got to get a bond title for it but then I. Was told to look into a salvage title? Easier maybe? But any one have any way to get a title for a builder bike or barn find bikes cuz that's what my bike is its had the vin ran and it has no history ever of being titled... verry odd I think but not stolen or reported missing

Ill make a list of every thang I'm getting rid of so someone else can use the parts
So, are you riding it with no title, registration and insurance? If I did that hear, the cops would own the bike and i would lose my license for 90 days. I wouldn't even ride mine at all on the road until i had it legal and it was killing me to get on it.

I don't know the laws in your state. You need to talk to some people at your DMV office. Usually though, replacing a lost untitled vehicle is a long drawn out expensive process.

              Title

The easiest and cheapest way to have a titled bike is, find a titled frame and switch everything to the titled frame. The vin on the engine doesn't have to match the frame. I have seen them as cheep as $100 on eBay. The highest I saw was about $200. Still a hell of a lot faster and cheaper than the alternatives.

Or if you are as good a welder as you claim, and hope to rake the steering neck anyway, find a titled neck, cut yours off, and weld the new titled one on... Might be good incentive to build a bike frame jig while you are at it, which would drastically help with future builds, or could probably be sold for several hundred bucks if its a good one!

Talked to that titling company and its 4 to 6 weeks to get the title at 485$ and my carbs cutting out I took them apart and followed the instructions on how to clean them and put them back together ran good the first go but after that first time it idles waaayyy high so I went to test the synchronization of the carps with a vacuumed tester and it back fires and done run right at normal rpm s so air leak? And how much would it be for shipping the frame on ebay would be about the same price in the end?
