Hi Tenorman,
Although I have a different front brake it uses the same bolt.
I found the shoulder bolts at my local Lowes.

No Phil, your bike doesn't have the bolt he needs. Your fork has two bosses that the caliper bolts to. His has one vertical bolt allowing the caliper to swivel.Marty (in Mississippi)

I think you will find the standard caliper uses the same bolt to hold the two parts of the caliper together.
The 2 bolts mounting the caliper to the fork are indeed different being bigger and shorter.

Hmmm. They certainly aren't the same part number. NLA for both. The Special one appears much longer.Marty (in Mississippi)

The 92.5mm length might also be a factory bulk purchase length. I think most of what you will find in the hardware stores are 95mm +/- and they will work (just a silly millimeter longer).Mike Giroir

Loose bolts is one cause, but poor rotor/fork alignment will also do it. Yamaha is very specific about having the rotors centered in the slots on the forks because this represents the 'centerline' that the calipers pivot on. Have the rotors off to one side or the other and the caliper attempts to 'bend' in that direction. The downside to this is setting your rotor/fork alignment correctly can introduce misalignment/'stiction' into the fork operation, but there's no fix for it; it's the way it was designed....Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
